Elmore Kitchen

When Alexis inherited her grandmother’s house, she wanted to modernize the kitchen to meet the needs of her family. Michelle Gentile Interiors consulted on the design, layout, color palette, lighting, and plumbing. The project team removed the old railing separating the kitchen and living room, replaced the office center with a beverage center and wine rack, improved the functionality of the island, painted the original oak cabinets, and created elevations above them. Special features include hand-glazed tile above the stove and a hood over the kitchen sink. The team also transformed a closet into a back hallway with built-in cabinetry and a door. Now the refreshed kitchen offers a clean, bold backdrop for comfortably preparing everything from quick weeknight meals to formal holiday dinners.
